Alright, I gave this one the 30 second test and watched nearly all 8 min of it.
First, these guys snap a freakin tow winch, which is jacked into an external battery, then they fray a nylon woven tow strap (all while standing within a close enough circumference to catch the lash).
Secondly, what kind of pig latin are they speaking?? 'Oh don't stand there you aught to get your head chopped off there'.

I've done that getting out of a mud hole (breaking a tow strap).
What they needed was a kinetic strap. Then they could have tugged like that and he would have gotten out
